Head Bowed

A contemplative primate portrait, its eyes hidden beneath a heavy brow as the head bows against a softly muted background. The unusual composition concentrates on the contrast between coarse golden-brown fur and the smooth, sculptural muzzle, with generous negative space adding to the quiet mood. Photographed at Port Lympne in Kent.
